What could be more magical or possibly more romantic than a photo shoot at night? This class will introduce you to the special considerations and techniques of shooting at night and in low light conditions. We will meet at CRPIC and then walk as a group along Moody Street and the Charles River walkways. Along the way we will explore basic camera settings for nighttime, framing cityscapes and nighttime portraiture, techniques to reduce blur and streaking or how to use it as an artistic effect. Small groups allow the instructor to give personalized attention to students’ individual questions. At the end of the session there will be a student slide show and refereshments back in CRPIC’s labs. A tripod is recommended, but not required. Great as a one-time experience or as an intro to the longer course.
Before registering, please review CRPIC's enrollment and course policies.
