Oct 20,2017 - Nov 10,2017 Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Like the night itself, beauty and mystery surround nighttime photography. This class will help you rise to the unique challenges of low light outdoor photography and create your own beautiful images. Through a combination of field shoots and classroom work, we will demystify the tech side of the dark and get lots of hands-on experience with camera work including aperture, shutter speed and ISO, shadow and light, framing cityscapes and nighttime portraiture. Learn how to reduce blur and streaking or use it as an artificial effect. Classes will meet at CRPIC and the group will walk together along Moody Street and the Charles River during field shoots. Students must have a camera which is capable of manual exposure control and a tripod is recommended, but not required. Student slide show and discussion follow field trips.
Before registering, please review CRPIC's enrollment and course policies.
